This storytelling session can be watched on demand now:
Actor Samuel West will present a special storytelling session as part of the Royal Albert Home series, reading Paul Jennings’ 1967 book The Great Jelly of London.
In these strange times, closing the Hall’s doors is the best way to look after the world, but we are now opening a (virtual) window for you to experience some of the most talented artists around.
The Great Jelly of London, illustrated by Gerald Rose, is a much-loved children’s fantasy book centred around Mr Bonamy Didcot’s grand plan to make an enormous jelly using the Royal Albert Hall as a mould!
BAFTA-nominated Samuel West will bring this cherished story to a brand new generation of ears so take a seat (and maybe a bowl of jelly!) and enjoy Paul Jennings’ magical tale about our special venue.
