ROYAL ALBERT HALL PRESENTS
Royal Albert Home: Nitin Sawhney
Primary Content
This session can be streamed on demand now:
Multi-award-winning musician and composer Nitin Sawhney will present a special session from lockdown as part of the Royal Albert Home series.
In these strange times, closing the Hall’s doors is the best way to look after the world, but we are now opening a (virtual) window for you to experience some of the most talented artists around.
Sawhney has had a rich and varied career, working across music, film, television, theatre and dance as a producer and composer, and was the recipient of the Ivor Novello Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
He has played the Hall on numerous occasions, including last year’s Beyond Skin Revisited, which saw him recreating Beyond Skin, the culturally iconic album, live and in full for the very first time.
At this lockdown session expect at-home performances, classic clips and stories from Nitin himself

As artists generously share their work with you, we ask that you generously support us so that the Royal Albert Hall can come back strong when we reopen our doors to the world.
If you can donate a fraction of the price of a ticket to see one of these artists live, you will be supporting the Hall for a brighter future.
