Christmas carols are beloved, largely uncontested vessels for emotion and memory, gratitude and generosity.
Enter Chilly Gonzales!
On Thursday 12 November, Classic Album Sundays’ Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy will be joined Chilly Gonzales for an exclusive live interview with the Grammy-winning Canadian pianist and entertainer. He will also perform songs from his upcoming album A Very Chilly Christmas. From feudal oldies to newer holiday pop canon, A Very Chilly Christmas encompasses a broad scope of seasonal repertoire and sentiment. There’s grandeur and solemnity, austerity and merriment, and of course, Mariah Carey.
This will be the first socially distanced event in the Elgar Room as we look for ways to forge forward during the COVID crisis and there will be a very limited number of seats.
Classic Album Sundays is an immersive shared listening experience which allows fans to get a close as possible to the artist’s music – with focus on their influential albums and songs – through stories told by the artist and listening to music on a world-class audiophile hi-fi system.
- This performance will be socially-distanced in our Elgar Room. A limited amount of tickets are available to attend in person or you can buy a ticket to stream the gig online in the comfort of your home.
- Entry via Door 8
- All customers aged 14 years or below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over
