Mercury Music Prize-nominated singer-songwriter Nick Mulvey will bring his biggest show to date to the Royal Albert Hall in 2018, as part of the Albert Sessions.
Mulvey is the former hang player with the Mercury Music Prize-nominated experimental jazzers the Portico Quartet, and the singer-songwriter behind solo albums First Mind (2014) and Wake Up Now (2017).
‘Wake Up Now aligns the jolly, vibrant world-music style of Paul Simon’s Graceland with some weighty philosophical and spiritual concerns.’
The Royal Albert Hall Albert Sessions enable artists who have not previously headlined at the Royal Albert Hall to offer cut-price tickets to fans, and engage with the Hall’s Education & Outreach programme by offering a bespoke educational opportunity for young people.
