Enjoy great food, drink and free live music in the Hall’s Verdi – Italian Kitchen the perfect place to wind down, laugh and eat well with friends and family over a bottle of great Italian wine.
Performing at this Free Friday Music concert will be Royal Academy of Music fellow Layale Chaker, a globe trotting violinist, composer and improviser.
Equally at home in classical, contemporary and improvised music, Layale has appeared at a number of arts festivals including Alderburgh Festival, Junger Kunstler Festival Bayreuth and the Lucerne Festival for Contemporary Music.
Fast establishing herself globally, having performed around Europe, the Middle-East, North and South America and Asia, Layale was also awarded the 2017 Ruth Anderson Competition Prize.
Layale will be accompanied by musicians Attab Haddad (oud) and Rhys Lovell (contrabass).

This Free Friday Music event is programmed with Arts Canteen is part of their Arab Women Artists Now (AWAN) festival established in 2015.
The festival showcases a versatile programme of artists across disciplines, while enabling establishing and emerging artists to perform side by side. AWAN nurtures artists and the wider professional arts community.
