    Back by popular demand, the Royal Albert Hall presents a special schools’ matinee performance of Raymond Gubbay’s Classical Spectacular.

    This dazzling classical music concert with incredible lights, lasers and special effects is suitable for students of Key Stages 2 and 3.

    A Teacher’s Pack with information about the performers, the pieces to be performed and suggested classroom activities will be made available to download from our website in January.

    Classical Spectacular Schools’ Matinee is now fully booked for school groups and there is a long waiting list. There are still seats available for small home educator groups.

    Booking Guidelines

    Tickets cost £5 per student. School groups must have a minimum ratio of one chaperone to ten children, with at least two adults accompanying any group of children. Chaperone tickets will be free. Additional adult tickets will cost £10.

  • Add a tour

    While you are at the Royal Albert Hall, add on a 30 minute tour around this world-famous venue. Led by an expert tour guide, groups will be able to learn more about the history of this Grade-II listed building while taking in the Royal Retiring Room, Grand Tier boxes and the Gallery.
    • Cost for tours will be invoiced along with show tickets at a cost of £3 per person for small groups, or £55 for a group booking of up to 20 people
    • Children must be accompanied on the tour by an adult.
    • A tour group constitutes up to 20 people, and may be made up of multiple home educator groups.
    • You will be contacted separately regarding the time slot for your school
