Join yoga teacher Jasmine Pradhan and cellist Carola Krebs for a special Yoga and Live Music session in the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room.
Jasmine Pradhan is an intuitive and compassionate teacher who believes that yoga can be a powerful tool in an individuals’ wellness toolbox. She has been practicing yoga since childhood, and teaching both in London and internationally for the previous four years.
With a combination of attention to safety, and tailor-made plans to bring various postures to life, Jasmine’s classes aim to build gentle heat, strength and flexibility in the body, while simultaneously bringing a sense of deep release and calm in the mind. Her classes offer a balanced blend of physical exertion and more contemplative, introspective exploration.
Carola Krebs is an Austrian cellist who has studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris and the Royal College of Music. She has performed in numerous concert halls across Europe and has always been an enthusiastic chamber musician, forming the ensemble Krebsquartet with her three sisters at a young age.
She has won prizes as both a chamber musician as well as a soloist at competitions. Together with her duo partner, Carola has been fortunate enough to perform in great venues such as the Austrian Embassy, St Martin-in-the-Fields and the V&A.
Carola is currently a member of the Southbank Sinfonia, and has performed with them as a soloist in London and in Italy. In 2018, Carola will perform Brahms’ Double Concerto, conducted by Norbert Pfafflmeyer.
