Enjoy great food, drink and free live music in the Hall’s Verdi – Italian Kitchen, the perfect place to wind down, laugh and eat well with friends and family over a bottle of great Italian wine.
Latchepen is a band of friends dedicated to gypsy jazz (the merging of swing and gypsy music, started off by the legendary Belgian Manouche gypsy Django Reinhardt in the 1930s). With the many influences and experiences that have shaped each member, Latchepen is a chance to hear this music move in a modern context but with hats tipped to the tradition and dense Roma history of this unique art form.
Together and between them, the band – jazz violinist Matt Holborn, guitarists Kourosh Kanani and Jeremie Coullon, and bass player Eleazar Spreafico have played at Buckingham Palace, Festival, Django Reinhart Samois Sur Seine, and London jazz venues like Ronnie Scott’s and the Pizza Express Jazz Club.
