The Tallest Man On Earth will celebrate a decade of performance with a special concert at the iconic Royal Albert Hall, as part of the Albert Sessions initiative.
Swedish folk singer-songwriter Kristian Matsson has been performing as The Tallest Man On Earth for 10 years. With songs and sounds captured in various countries, studios and barns, his tracks carry a weather-worn quality, some dirt and some grit. Reliably, the melodies and arrangements are sturdy and classic, like old cars and tightly wound clocks.
Matsson recently released his fourth album, Dark Bird Is Home.
‘He flits between our reality and his own, a world of only dreamers and travelers, flickering lights of towns, shadows and ghosts, birds and trees. His way of finding joy in his solitude.’

Support comes from American indie folk singer-songwriter Damien Jurado.
