Our intimate Late Night Jazz series presents sensational music in the sultry setting of the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room.

Having appeared at the Hall twice as lead singer of The Cinematic Orchestra, London-born Heidi Vogel is back with her unique vocal blend of jazz, soul, Latin and funk and three-piece band: Ivo Neame (piano), Shane Forbes (drums) and Dario di Lecce (double bass).

Having won the ‘Yamaha National Youth Rock and Pop Award’ in 1995, Heidi’s debut solo album Turn up the Quiet came out in 2012. The record has received rave reviews from Jazzwise magazine, Jazz Times, Jungle Drums and has received support from Jamie Cullum and Osunlade, to name a few.

‘She’s got an extraordinary voice… an incredible range to her voice and such a texture to it as well… keep an eye out for Heidi Vogel’
    Jamie Cullum (BBC Radio 2)

‘Heidi Vogel… stole the show. She bellowed out with a voice made from Mountains and oceans, while every last drop of emotion was wrung’
    The Evening Standard
