Earl Okin has been one of the world’s finest Jazz singers for some years. He is renowned for his legendary vocal-trumpet solos and is regarded as one of the most accomplished Bossa Nova artistes outside Brazil.

Despite working with some of the biggest names of the 1960’s, (Wings, Van Morrison, Fairport Convention) and having written songs for the likes of Cilla Black, Georgie Fame, Ive Mendes and Bing Crosby, Okin still remains one of Britain’s best kept secrets.

His first album Musical Genius and Sex Symbol features his dry and hilarious songs alongside inspired versions of contemporary hits including a bossa nova version of Wheatus’ Teenage Dirtbag, a version of Blur’s Song 2 and a Nat King Cole version of Coldplay’s Yellow.
