Daniel Shao, born in 1995 in London is a half-Chinese Flute player currently at the Royal College of Music Junior Department and Purcell School of Music.

He started his musical studies at age 7 on the piano, and began to study flute at age 9.

Daniel has played solo on Chinese Television several times, including a private concert filmed in August 2012 for the Chinese Olympic team and Ambassador at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel.

He also played as a soloist on Trafalgar Square for the Mayor of London's St. George's Day celebrations 2012.
