In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and following advice from government, it is with a heavy heart that we have had to close the Royal Albert Hall. The safety and security of our artists, audiences and staff is, ultimately, all that matters.
In these extraordinary times we need support to simply look after our staff and to help us recover when this pandemic is over.
Support the Royal Albert Hall as an individual
Thank you for your interest in supporting the Hall. We receive no regular government funding and rely on the support of our visitors and donors to raise the £20m a year it costs us to keep this building operational.
Your support can allow us to:
- Preserve and develop our Grade I-listed building, allowing us to bring more extraordinary moments to our stages and welcome more people than ever before to experience it
- Change lives through music through our Education & Outreach programme, in which we bring concerts to care homes, offer music therapy sessions and unique experiences for young people
- Maintain and grow our archive, preserving our nation’s memories and making them accessible to everyone
Let’s not just marvel at the Royal Albert Hall’s story. Let’s keep writing it.
