The Royal Albert Hall has inspired audiences and some of the world's finest performers for 138 years and attracts thousands of daytime visitors who come to explore and enjoy this celebrated Grade I Listed building.

The Hall receives no government funding towards its upkeep and maintaining the building absorbs the major part of the Hall's annual operating surplus. A major, lottery-funded programme of building works was completed five years ago which significantly improved facilities for audiences and performers. But over the next ten years we need to carry out further improvements to replace our ageing building heating systems, improve energy efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of our operations. If we are to achieve these goals and ensure that the Hall can play its central role in the national cultural life for another 100 years, we need your help.
