Pictures and reactions: Passenger performs in the empty Royal Albert Hall
To tie in with the release of his new studio album, Passenger broadcast a very special film, Passenger From The Royal Albert Hall, on Sunday 10 January.
This one-time event was available for free to fans who pre-ordered his new album Songs for the Drunk and Broken-Hearted.
The British singer-songwriter debuted six new songs from his thirteenth album and also performed his hit song Let Her Go. Check out pictures and fan reactions below:

passengermusic royal Albert hall gig was great thank you! Although I still can’t get through one of your gigs without crying! Never heard silence like I heard it tonight when you sang scare away the dark and there was no crowd to join in. Can’t wait for those times again!
— Sam Partridge (

RoyalAlbertHall live rn to a virtual audience and I can't help but feel so sad watching it. I've been to every Passenger gig in Ireland for the last 8 years and it breaks my heart that there's nobody there to sing back. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/x8Tt8YIsMd
