Exclusive photos: Innervisions make history at the Hall
Berlin-based label Innervisions took over the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 21 September for a spectacular signature showcase.
Innervisions are not new to unusual locations – they have thrown parties in all sorts of unexpected settings, from a castle in Tuscany to a Catalan military prison. But about their London show, label founders Dixon and Âme said:
“The performance will be an unforgettable milestone for both Royal Albert Hall and the label, as modern electronic music is taken out of the clubs and thrust onto the stage of a global icon.” Innervisions
There isn’t a seat in sight in our arena, so our guests had enough space to dance!
It was the largest house music night ever put on within our walls, with around five hours of house and techno played across the course of the evening. The giant screen cube allowed the artists to deliver a full audiovisual experience to the audience.
The evening started with long-time Innervisions signee Marcus Worgull taking to the decks first, then the Croatian visual artist Nina Kurtela performed a contemporary dance piece.
Dixon and Âme were of course booked in for the headline slots. One half of Âme, Frank Wiedemann, performed a live set alongside Gudrun Gut and Matthew Herbert, while the other half, Kristian Beyer, closed the night with a b2b set with Dixon.

German house DJ Henrik Schwarz and Bugge Wesseltoft, the Norwegian jazz musician, performed collaboratively (on opposite grand pianos):
