Planet Earth II Live in Concert on 13 May 2018 brought us closer to the spellbinding animals, landscapes and wildlife dramas on our planet than ever before!

This extraordinary musical safari brought us face-to-face with a family of penguins, racing alongside hunting lions in the deserts of Namibia, feeling the raw tension as a baby iguana escapes the clutches of deadly racer snakes, and tapping our toes along with dancing grizzly bears…

The event featured breathtaking, specially-selected footage from the BAFTA and EMMY award-winning series accompanied by the remarkable soundtrack of Oscar winner Hans Zimmer and his composers, Jacob Shea and Jasha Klebe, performed live by the BBC Concert Orchestra and BBC Singers, conducted by Jessica Cottis and, for one piece, special guest Zimmer himself!
