World-renowned violinist Nigel Kennedy returned to the Royal Albert Hall in March 2017 with a special headline show, as part of our inaugural Love Classical festival.
Take a look behind the scenes as Nigel and his special guests, including jazz-violinist Jean-Luc Ponty prepared for the show:
Ahead of his anticipated performance, Kennedy said:
‘The Royal Albert Hall has always been a venue which has a special significance for me. Whether it has been attending concerts by Stephane Grappelli or Yehudi Menuhin as a child or attending many of Frank Bruno’s early fights, this venue has a gladiatorial aspect to it, which creates a completely unique atmosphere between the performers and the audience. I’m really looking forward to playing such a diverse range of music to one of the best audiences in the world!’
