Undergraduate students from Buckinghamshire New University have recently had the amazing opportunity to film and produce a new BBC Music Introducing session with hot new band Kovic in the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room.
Some 25 Media & Creative Industries students were responsible for setting-up the lighting rig, sound system, film cameras and vision mixing facility with support from their lecturers. They then smoothly managed the sound checking, rehearsal, filming as well as the post-production editing.
The Buckinghamshire New University students were joined by further education learners who have an interest in pursuing careers within the music industry. The younger learners were able to observe the university students’ safe working practise in order to get a unique fly on the wall perspective of what it takes to fully stage a live music event to professional standards.
Kovic has recently announced dates for their UK Tour in April 2017 following the release of their debut single Wires. They recently played on the sold out tour of supporting label peers The Hunna.
