With multiple tours available every day, it can be difficult to work out which to book!

First time taking a tour of the Hall? The everpopular Grand Tour is the perfect introduction into the Hall’s rich history, Royal patronage, and legendary performances.

Already know the Hall or looking for something different? Discover our numerous themed tours, which focus on the Hall’s secret history, captivating classical music performances, connections with Hollywood and the architecture of the Hall in the context of Albertopolis – the name for the general area of museums and educational institutions in South Kensington. These tours are available on select days only.

Make the most of your visit by combining a tour with lunch or afternoon tea. Just select the desired package when booking your tour ticket. These packages are only available when booked in advance but you can buy other snacks and refreshments on the day from our onsite Café or Verdi Restaurant.

What to expect on the day

  • Meet inside the Royal Albert Hall at Door 12. The tour will leave from the ‘Welcome to the Royal Albert Hall’ stand located in the foyer.
  • You’ll be met by one of the Hall’s knowledgeable and friendly guides and taken on a 1-hour tour around the building (English language).
  • Your tour ends back at Door 12, where the Gift Shop is located for souvenirs. Show your tour ticket to receive a 10% discount on all purchases.

If you have added on lunch, afternoon tea or dinner to your tour, please make your way to the Verdi Restaurant (upstairs at Door 12) at the end of your tour, where you will be shown to your table.
