We’ve spent the last week in a flurry of activity, working around the clock to ensure our main auditorium is ready for the world’s largest music festival – the BBC Proms.

Over five days, 15 different technical teams have been working on everything from rigging hundreds of microphones, unrolling several miles of cables, and installing camera points around the auditorium, to building and painting the stage, and raising the iconic BBC Proms branded canopy and acoustic sails.
