Just weeks before performing as part of the Love Classical festival with his Kanneh-Mason Trio, cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason played an emotional cover of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah as part of the BAFTAs ceremony on 12 February.

The talented 17-year-old cellist, who was awarded the prestigious BBC Young Musician of the Year award in 2016, performed this exceptional Cohen cover in remembrance of the late, great singer-songwriter who died in November 2016, as well as many talented people from the film industry who we lost in 2016.
