Love Classical, the Royal Albert Hall’s festival of classical music, is just around the corner, and to give you a taste of what to expect we’ve compiled a Spotify playlist taking in the work of the composers and musicians who feature during the 12-day run of classical music-themed events.
World-class stars Nigel Kennedy, Alison Balsom and Lang Lang each play headline shows in the main auditorium, joined by an array of very special guests for a wide-ranging and potentially surprising repertoire of classical music.
Meanwhile, the Hall’s other spaces are host to all manner of concerts and classical music-themed events, including a piano recital from Nicholas McCarthy, an exploration of gender roles within Indian music, a trip down memory lane with veteran classical music documentarian Christopher Nupen, and a unique performance from the London Contemporary Orchestra deep underground in the Hall’s Loading Bay.

Love Classical takes place across seven different spaces around the Hall, from Saturday 4 to Wednesday 22 March.
