Performing deep underneath the Hall as part of the Love Classical festival on 4 March , the London Contemporary Orchestra will be presenting an eclectic concert including works from long-term collaborator Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, Steve Reich and Mica Levi.
Listen to the LCO on NTS Live and get a flavour for what to expect at their show in our Loading Bay:
The LCO’s monthly radio show on NTS Live illustrates both their tastes and live performances. Their latest offering is comprised of recordings from last year’s Hub Sessions, including three acoustic reimaginings of electronic tracks by Jon Hopkins, Autechre and Nils Frahm.
The LCO was founded in 2008 by Hugh Brunt and Robert Ames with the aim of bringing contemporary classical and experimental music to a wider audience.
Having worked with a host of musicians from Radiohead to Frank Ocean, the LCO has established itself as one of the UK’s most innovative and respected ensembles, promoting the best new music and cross-arts collaborations to an increasingly wider audience.
Saturday 4 – Wednesday 15 March 2017
