Cirque du Soleil returns to the iconic Royal Albert Hall in 2018 with its never before seen in the UK show, OVO!

A colourful carnival of crazy crickets, amazing ants and flexible fleas, OVO uncovers the natural world at our feet. Rush headlong into an ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and love.

Crawling with fun, OVO is a non-stop riot of energy and movement featuring many of Cirque du Soleil’s mind-blowing signature acts including a stunning 14m high flying trapeze act – the biggest of its kind!

Women and the Hall

100 years ago, the Representation of the People Act 1918 gave women the vote for the first time.

Women and the Hall celebrates the women who formed the Royal Albert Hall’s history and were instrumental in the fight for women’s suffrage, and provides a platform for the women who are shaping our future, through a season of talks, film screenings and performances.

We’ve got Late Night Jazz gigs with the best female musicians in the city, a screening of Suffragette with a Q&A with the director herself, a one-off night of fierce, feminist spoken word and poetry at That’s What She Said, a celebration of the WI, and an insight into the music industry with a panel of leading female industry experts.

Teenage Cancer Trust

2018 sees the 18th year of Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall. The shows are the charity’s flagship annual fundraiser and raise millions to provide specialist care for young people with cancer.

Courteeners and Kasabian have been announced as the first headlines of Teenage Cancer Trust’s week of music and comedy, with more acts to be announced in 2018.

As part of the Royal Albert Hall’s inaugural Festival of Science, explore Space through a series of concerts, talks. screenings and comedy events for space and sci-fi fans young and old.

We’ve got film screenings with live music of sci-fi favourites Star Trek, Star Trek Beyond, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and a live-rescoring of Moomins and the Comet, plus intergalactic-inspired music at Space Spectacular and My Great Orchestral Adventure, in space.
