It’s never too early to plan ahead for the next half term holiday – we have a great week of fun and exciting children’s events in the Main Auditorium and Elgar Room lined up! Take a look:

A runaway hit at the 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Patrick Monahan hosts a special movie-themed edition of his family fun quiz. Prepare for quick-fire competition, family fun and lots of laughs. Part of the Festival of Film.

After a hugly successful maiden adventure in 2016, My Great Orchestral Adventure returns to the Hall. Navigate stormy seas and survive a shipwreck in this magical, musical journey for all the family! We’ll be singing, dancing and best of all, a full symphony orchestra will bring our adventure to life.
Suitable for ages 3+. Under 3s can attend and need to buy a ticket if they require a seat. Babes in arms do not need a ticket.
The ever-popular daytime hip-hop party for kids and parents returns to the Hall with special guest DJ Yoda, screening (clean!) video clips from famous hip hop videos and films alongside classic tracks from the movies. Part of the Festival of Film.
Suitable for all ages; all attending require a ticket.
Timeless family favourite The Addams Family (1991) will enjoy its world premiere screening in the Hall’s stunning auditorium this Halloween, accompanied by live orchestra. Kooky, spooky, ghoulish fun for the entire family! Part of the Festival of Film.

Join children’s author Lotte Moore for an interactive, fun-packed author session in the Elgar Room. Lotte will read two of her books: Wheezy the Wobbler and The Invisible Elephant, plus there will be songs to join in with, and opportunities to ask Lotte about her stories.
Suitable for ages 3-6.
join the Royal Albert Hall’s resident Education & Outreach orchestra, Albert’s Band, as they perform a concert of music which celebrates some famous heroes and heroines from stage and screen. Part of the Festival of Film.
Child tickets are available for those aged 2 – 16 years. Under 2s go free.
Inspired by the child’s desire to create order, patterns and systems, this dance-theatre show is a witty and uplifting journey discovering if chaos and order can ever live side-by-side; with plenty of surprises, Tidy Up is an unforgettable party!

South Kensington tube station does not offer step free access. The nearest underground station with step free access is Green Park.

Food and Drink
There are restaurants, cafés and bars available throughout the building. Visit our food and drink for more information. Verdi, our Italian restaurant offers a children’s menu.
The Hall is fully accessible for buggies. Please ask a steward upon arrival where to park your buggy. Space might be limited so please be prepared to fold it, and always ensure that any valuables stay with you at all times, as buggies are left at your own risk.
Baby changing facilities are available in our accessible toilets at Doors 4, 8 and 12 on the Ground Floor, near Door 4 on the Grand Tier (level 1) and Door 8 on the Rausing Circle level (level 3).
