Laura Mvula, Jack Garratt and Gabrielle Aplin all played surprise sets ahead of Ellie Goulding’s first ever headline performance at the Royal Albert Hall on 21 November 2016.
The night was all in aid of Streets of London, which funds specialist support for people who are homeless in London, and raises awareness about homelessness – a charity Goulding is an ambassador for.
Following on from her fundraising concerts for the charity in recent years at the Roundhouse and Shepherd’s Bush Empire, this night at London’s most iconic venue saw short sets from the previously-unannounced guests, before Goulding took to the stage to perform highlights from her three chart-topping albums, Lights, Halcyon and 2015’s Delirium.
