The American singer-songwriter first appeared at the Hall as a surprise special guest at Goldfrapp’s in October 2014, and for his first headline show brought three of his own special guests – Kylie Minogue, Cate Le Bon and Richard Hawley for duets on Glacier, Torn Between Two Lovers and Disappointing respectively.

John Grant kept a packed Royal Albert Hall enraptured for nearly two hours with a set made up of material mainly taken from his most recent album, the upbeat yet cathartic Grey Tickles, Black Pressure, peppered with greatest hits from his acclaimed first three albums including Glacier, Queen of Denmark and GMF.
Grant closed the evening on a poignant note with a moving performance of Glacier with Kylie Minogue, dedicated to the victims of the Orlando massacre of LBGT clubbers in the previous week.
