Late Night Jazz returns for another exciting season this autumn, featuring a stellar line-up of artists from the London jazz scene performing in the intimate surroundings of the Hall’s Elgar Room.

Among those taking to the stage is young up-and-comer Theo Jackson, whose soulful vocal stylings have recently been compared by critics to the likes of Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake. Julia Biel is another rising star who has been making waves with her beguiling vocals and sharp lyrical observations. The award-winning vocalist will be performing as part of this year’s EFG London Jazz Festival.

Decibel loving brass band The Big-Shake Up return for another of their high-energy, foot-stomping shows, while The Dixie Ticklers are back with their uniquely contemporary take on Parisian gypsy swing. Also not to be missed are Jazz FM Breakthrough Act of the Year 2016 nominees Nérija – an all-female ensemble who combine jazz with a healthy dose of hip hop and afrobeat.

Topping off the line up are Jazz at the Movies, whose regularly sold-out shows feature an array of jazzy, evocative interpretations of classic film soundtracks, ranging from The Pink Panther and The Aristocats to The Ipcress File and From Russia with Love.
