What to Expect

We hope that you have a very enjoyable visit to the Royal Albert Hall. So that you and our other customers can have an enjoyable time, please take a moment to read the guidelines below.

Smoking

The Royal Albert Hall is a non-smoking building.

Food & Beverages

"rhubarb", the Hall's caterers, provide a wide choice of food and drink throughout the building for you. Please do not bring your own food and drinks into the building at any time.

Dress Code

Please dress as you like. There is no dress code for the majority of shows at the Hall and if a dress code is required for a particular performance, you will be notified on your tickets.

Intervals & Timing

Intervals vary with each event and occasionally there are none at all. In the interests of the majority of our customers, latecomers cannot be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.

Cameras & Electronics

Cameras and audio and video equipment are not allowed. Please ensure that all mobile phones, pagers or alarms are switched off before entering the auditorium.

Cloakroom

Cloakroom facilities (£1 per item) are available at Basement and Ground levels. Please note that not all of the cloakrooms are open at all times. On arrival, please ask a Steward for directions.
