Live music in Verdi - Peter Horsfall Trio

Saturday 27 September 2014 - 12:00 PM

Verdi - Italian Kitchen
Peter Horsfall | Royal Albert Hall
Presented by:

Trumpet player and vocalist Peter Horsfall is the leader of critically acclaimed hot swing ensemble The Basin Street Brawlers. He performs regularly both in the UK and internationally at major concert venues. Currently working with numerous other UK-based jazz ensembles including The Kansas Smitty's House Band, he has also performed with The Chris Barber Band, Benoit Viellefon Orchestra, Keith Nichols, Lucinda Belle Orchestra and Trio Manouche amongst many others.

“Horsfall's vocals are reminiscent of that cult dance-band revivalist Max Raabe – and, like the charismatic Berliner, he knows exactly how to bring the past to life.” - The Sunday Times.

''A concise, lyrical player and an especially fine singer: Imagine if Bob Howard or Louis Prima had been born in London — swinging, impassioned, but never overstated.” - JazzLives, USA.
