The National Poetry Slam Final

National Poetry Slam Final | Loading Bay, Royal Albert Hall

Estimate end time: 10:15pm

The UK's finest performance poets, spoken word artists, verbose verbalised minds and masters of spit and wit go head to head at The National Slam Final, hosted by Steve Larkin and Sam Berkson and with special guest Kate Tempest.

Organiser Hammer & Tongue has been running poetry slams throughout the country all year, with regional winners set to compete in this final held in the Royal Albert Hall's Loading Bay.

The loading bay is a vast warehouse style area located deep underneath the building servicing over 390 shows per year. On the rare occasions it is not in use, special one off events are hosted there by the Hall.  This event will be the only time this year that the general public can gain access to this space.

This event has been rescheduled from the original date of Saturday 21 June. Existing ticket holders who are still able to attend do not need to do anything: bookings have been automatically transferred to the new date.
