Patrick has had a meteoric rise up the stand up comedy ladder. He has gone from open spot to headliner in an incredibly short length of time and is now a regular MC and headline stand up performer at the top London and UK comedy clubs, including the prestigious Jongleurs circuit and the Comedy Store.
Patrick is also a regular now at the Edinburgh Festival where for the past 5 years he has presented solo 1 hour shows: in 2004 he performed at the Gilded Balloon with his first solo show 'Game On' and in 2005 he moved to Underbelly where he had a hit with his second solo show 'The Road Map to Peace'. His Festival 2006 show was 'Do the Right Thing' and really established Patrick as as showman as well as comedian with a wonderful mix of stand up and audience participation. 2007 saw him return to the Underbelly to perform 'Feel the Love' which included his signature audience interaction. In 2008 Underbelly again hosted Patrick's new show 'Time Bandit', a show about his natural inclination towards being late! This year Patrick performed at Gilded Balloon with his show 'Cowboys and Iranians', a hit stand up show which gained him 4 and 5 star reviews.
He now brings 'Cowboys and Iranian's to the Royal Albert Hall's new Elgar Room, the first comedy event to take place in this space.
Supporting Patrick is young comedian, Brett Goldstein. Brett has performed in film and on TV as well as being a playwright and screen writer. Brett started performing stand up in 2006 and in 2007 he was selected to appear in the Comedy Reserve (the Pleasance’s ‘Best of New Comedy’ showcase) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Brett has also performed at Brighton Sidesplitters and the Covent Garden Comedy Club.
