Mark Knopfler

Sunday 30 May - Friday 4 June 2010

Mark Knopfler new- main
Presented by:

A multiple GRAMMY® award winner as the lead singer/songwriter for Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler combined his wry lyrics with his guitar prowess to create such major hits as Money For Nothing, Romeo and Juliet and Walk of Life. By the mid-80's Dire Straits had released Brothers in Arms, one of the best selling albums of all time.

As well as playing material from his new album Get Lucky, Mark's set will feature Dire Straits classic hits and songs from his solo career. After more than 20 distinguished years at the forefront of modern British musicianship, he still retains the distinctive guitar and husky vocals that create his unique sound.
