National treasure Paul Weller returns to the Hall for another show in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The hugely influential singer-songwriter, who rose to international icon status during his time in The Jam, has won four Brit Awards, including the 2006 Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.
Weller, described by the BBC as ‘one of the most revered music writers and performers of the past 30 years,’ released his 12th studio album, Saturns Pattern, last year, reaching number two on the UK Albums Chart.
‘Its important to support the continuously incredible work that TCT does. It’s an honour to be able to perform for them and hopefully help raise money for teenagers when they need it the most.’
2017 will be the 17th year of Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall, the shows are the charity’s flagship annual fundraiser raising millions to provide specialist care for young people with cancer.
