World-renowned violinist Nigel Kennedy will return to the Royal Albert Hall with a special headline show, as part of the Love Classical festival.

Kennedy’s unique talent and extraordinary ability to communicate with audiences have made him one of the world’s most popular and well-respected performers, and this show will be like nothing you’ve ever seen before.

Combining greatest hits and new works, Kennedy will perform a wide ranging repertoire from Bach to Hendrix, world music to jazz, accompanied by a host of incredibly special guests as part of this one-off performance, including Peter Adams, Georgi Andreev, Lizzie Ball, Pieter Daniel, Michael Guttman, Dominic Kelly, Robert Plant, Jean-Luc Ponty, The Violinists and The Orchestra of Life.

‘The Royal Albert Hall has always been a venue which has a special significance for me. Whether it has been attending concerts by Stephane Grappelli or Yehudi Menuhin as a child or attending many of Frank Bruno’s early fights, this venue has a gladiatorial aspect to it, which creates a completely unique atmosphere between the performers and the audience. I’m really looking forward to playing such a diverse range of music to one of the best audiences in the world!’
    Nigel Kennedy, on Radio 2
