Celebrated Italian performer Zucchero returns for his fifth appearance at the Royal Albert Hall.
Over a career spanning more than three decades Adelmo Fornaciari, better known to the world as Zucchero, has achieved international success, not least through his many collaborations with artists including Joe Cocker, Elton John, Miles Davis, Brian May and Pavarotti.
Audiences will be treated to songs from his catalogue of hits including Senza Una Donna, Così Celeste and Everybody’s Got to Learn Sometime, as well as new tracks.
Croatian duo 2Cellos will appear as special guests on the Thursday night, with renowned Japanese guitarist Hotei appearing on stage on the Friday.
I am very excited about returning to play at the Royal Albert Hall. It holds great memories for me as I first time I played there was with Eric Clapton in 1990 when he bought me over to be his special guest during his residency and now I’m here doing my fifth show on my own. It is one of my favourite venues to perform at in Europe.
Opening the show on both evenings will be hotly tipped singer songwriter Kelvin Jones who recently released his debut album Stop the Moment.
