Grand Tour

Front of house tour

Take a tour of the Royal Albert Hall and experience the excitement inside one of the most famous entertainment venues in the world as it prepares for the evening's performance. Our engaging guides will take you on a journey through this iconic building, bringing to life its fascinating history and sharing some of its secrets.

This is a one-hour tour covering all Front of House areas including the stunning auditorium, the Gallery and the Queen's private suites, the Royal Retiring Room.

All tours are conducted in English. Each tour is subject to availability and limited to 20 people. Groups of 15 or more may book a private group tour. Most group sizes can be accommodated; those with 20 or more people will be divided into separate groups.  Booking in advance is strongly recommended.

Tours are not recommended for children under 7 but they are welcome to attend. Toddlers and babes in arms are admitted at the Tour Guide's discretion, although not during the BBC Proms season. Up to 2 under 5s go free for each adult ticket purchased (please book in person or call the Box Office on 0845 401 5045).

Grand Tour dates are generally made available 3 months in advance.  Please check back later if you wish to book a tour after that time period.
