RECENT EVENTS - Classical Coffee Mornings - Serpentine Brass

Serpentine Brass | Royal Albert Hall

Serpentine Brass is a brass quintet made up of trumpeters Ryan Linham and Dominic Hammett, trombonist Tom Berry, tuba player Elliot Launn and Finlay Bain on the horn.

Formed in late 2011 by five Royal College of Music students, the group play repertoire of all genres, from Baroque to Jazz and Modern. Recently, they have also started to perform their arrangements.

Members of the group have played with The Royal Opera House, English National Opera, and have also held seats in the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, European Union Youth Orchestra and the Aldeburgh World Orchestra.

Serpentine Brass have given recitals at St. Mary Abbots Church High St. Kensington and also played concerts in the Royal College of Music series.

Programme

An eclectic mix of light quintet music and modern arrangements will be presented and introduced by the members of the group on the day.

Classical Coffee Mornings

Classical Coffee Mornings give you the chance to listen to outstanding talent from the Royal College of Music at Sunday morning classical recitals in the Hall's Elgar Room.

Tickets include a hot drink and a pastry and cost £11*. Doors open at 10.15am with music from 11am to 12 noon.
