Caro Emerald will headline the Royal Albert Hall for the very first time, with her energetic blend of big band jazz, swing and pop.
The Dutch singer and her fabulous band promise a 'classy show, with a jazz club feel, and of course some fabulous outfits!'
A graduate of the Amsterdam Conservatory, Caro’s debut album Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor became the sleeper hit of 2011 throughout Europe where it sold more than 1.3 million copies. In Britain, where it was supported by Radio 2, Smooth FM and the likes of Jools Holland, it was certified platinum shifting more than 300,000 albums.
Currently working on her follow up album, scheduled for release in early 2013, Caro is looking forward to performing at the Hall. She says 'The Royal Albert Hall is a dream come true, I still have to pinch myself when I come to think about it.'
