Hall Etiquette

We hope that you enjoy your visit to the Hall. In the interests of others we would be grateful if you could take note of the guidelines below.

Smoking / Food & Beverages

The Royal Albert Hall is a non-smoking building. Food and beverages may not be brought into the building at any time.

Cameras & Electronic Devices

Cameras, video equipment and tape recorders are not permitted. Please ensure all pagers and mobile phones are switched off before entering the auditorium.

Dress Code

There is no dress code for the majority of shows. If a dress code is requested for a particular performance, patrons will be notified on their tickets.

Intervals & Timings

Intervals vary with each event and sometimes there are none at all. Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.
