Daytime At The Hall

Tours at the Hall

Experience the Royal Albert Hall. The Hall is now open to daytime visitors for daily tours, a shop and restaurant. Come and experience the excitement inside one of the most famous performing arts venues in the world! This incredibly versatile event space hosts over 330 events every year and is celebrated for its legendary performance.

Join our guides for a fascinating journey through the extraordinary history of a stunning and iconic building, opened in 1871 as the brain-child of Queen Victoria's husband Prince Albert. Witness some of the unseen workings and peek into the auditorium, as the Hall prepares to open its doors for the next show. Highlights of the tour include the breathtaking auditorium, exclusive access to the Royal Retiring Room, a look inside the Queen's Box and an action-packed presentation featuring a selection of the huge range of events that take place at the Hall.

Tours generally run every day, except Wednesday, from 10.30am to 3.30pm. Times may vary due to rehearsals and performances. Tours, which depart from inside the South Porch at Door 12, last approximately 1 hour and are subject to availability. All tours are currently conducted in English.

As the Hall is a working venue, each tour is unique and may include the opportunity to see rehearsals or technical preparations for an event. Please note that the tour does not include access backstage.
