Royal Albert Hall extends hospitality offering with major Cirque du Soleil agreement

In line with the Royal Albert Hall's ongoing expansion of its corporate and hospitality
division, the iconic entertainment venue is delighted to announce an agreement with
Cirque du Soleil to bring the show’s world-renowned hospitality in-house.
In addition to providing the resources of a Hospitality Manager and dedicated hospitality and
marketing support team, the Hall will also work with Cirque du Soleil to develop creative new
ideas to further enhance the guests' hospitality experience.
Kirsty Mallinson, Hospitality Manager at the Hall, will help oversee Cirque du Soleil's launch in
the UK of its world-famous 'Tapis Rouge' (literally 'Red Carpet') packages at the Royal Albert
Hall and also coordinate new ideas such as the establishment of a more family-focused
corporate hospitality offering for certain performances. Cirque du Soleil aims to buck the
traditional trend of corporate hospitality by engaging and inspiring audiences with the
interactive Cirque experiences that have already been piloted to great acclaim at various
venues around the world.
As first place Cirque performed outside a Grand Chapiteau and one of the only venues in the
world they tour to annually, the agreement is a notable result of the Hall's ambitious strategy
to break from tradition and develop hospitality and corporate partnership options at the venue,
offering private and corporate buyers a direct alternative and promoters and artists a wider
choice of options.
Since its implementation of a new corporate strategy in 2008, the Hall has signed landmark
deals with some of the world's leading consumer brands including Moët & Chandon, Häagen-
Dazs and American Express with the focus of each agreement to bring a unique guest
experience to the 350 diverse music, sports, arts, charitable and corporate events staged at
the Hall each year.
