Royal Albert Hall agrees an exclusive partnership with Moët & Chandon
23 March, 2009
The Royal Albert Hall, one of the world’s most celebrated arts and entertainment venues, has signed a new exclusive partnership agreement with Moët & Chandon, the world’s most loved premium champagne producer.
As the exclusive champagne supplier to the Hall, Moët’s brand essence of celebration and festivity will be brought to the Hall’s 1.3 million annual visitors following the installation of The Moët Champagne Bar within the Grand Tier. The luxurious bar, dressed in Moët’s striking black and gold colour scheme will open on the 24 March and serve all matinee and evening performances from 24 March 2009.
The Moët & Chandon partnership is a product of the Hall’s new commercial strategy which, for the first time, includes opportunities to develop new and innovative corporate partnerships with the iconic venue. In a highly competitive arts and entertainment industry, the Hall’s continued ambition is to pioneer new, cutting-edge arts and science projects that are accessible to the public with the financial backing and creative input of a select number of corporate partners. By attracting brands such as Moët & Chandon which demonstrate a natural synergy with the Hall and its objectives, the venue is well positioned to represent the interests and demands of its audience.
Jasper Hope, Director of Events at the Royal Albert Hall, said: “This association will combine the world’s most loved Champagne with one of the world’s most loved venues, both founded on a tradition of celebration and unique entertainment. With our rich, individual histories and yet contemporary approaches, Moët and the Hall will add yet another dimension to our visitor’s unique show experience”.
Commenting on the new partnership, Emelie de Vitis, Senior Brand Manager at Moët & Chandon, said: “We are delighted to be the official champagne supplier to the Royal Albert Hall. As the venue is so synonymous with celebration and world class performances, Moët is the perfect partner for visitors to truly enjoy and indulge themselves with throughout the year.”
