Royal Albert Hall selects Samsung as its official screen supplier

ROYAL ALBERT HALL SELECTS SAMSUNG AS ITS OFFICIAL SCREEN SUPPLIER

Samsung’s SMART 3D Full HD LED TVs and display monitors are set to add a new dimension to the Hall’s audience and performer experience

23 August 2012, London UK – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, has been chosen by the Royal Albert Hall, one of the world’s leading entertainment venues and Superbrands, to be its official screen supplier in an exclusive two-year deal.

The world famous Hall is introducing these digital screens as part of its commitment to continued improvement for future generations and providing maximum public benefit.  Positioned front of house and backstage the screens will add a valuable dimension to the audience and performer experience by providing vital visitor information throughout the day as well as footage from the shows during events.

The Samsung products now installed at Royal Albert Hall include:
• 24 x 22-inch LCD Monitors (LT22A300EW) – positioned back of house – the monitors deliver versatile connectivity, vivid images and excellent sound through Dolby Digital Plus
• 4 x  UE46 Large Format Displays  – two at Door 12 and two at Door 6 – these eco-friendly screens feature a super slim bezel, crystal clear resolution, superior readability and also have a built-in media player
• 1 x 40-inch D6530 Series 6 SMART 3D Full HD LED TV and 1 x 46-inch D6100 Series 6 SMART 3D Full HD LED TV – both positioned back of house – these televisions features a host of intuitive and interactive features including the most advanced 3D imaging technology, Ultra Clear Panel, Clear Motion Rate 400 and Wide Colour Enhancer Plus to deliver the ultimate visual experience.
