Royal Albert Hall appoints Good Relations

02 March 2012 – Good Relations, part of the Bell Pottinger Group, has been appointed to help raise the profile of Royal Albert Hall as a charity as well as promote its public benefit and own programming initiatives.  The agency won the account following a 3 stage pitch process, and was chosen from the 45 agencies who responded to the brief.

The twelve month campaign will target a wide range of media, to promote the venue's charity status, and will see Good Relations working with key members of the Royal Albert Hall to achieve the charity’s goals. 

Chief Executive for Royal Albert Hall, Chris Cotton said: “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Good Relations as the Hall's chosen PR agency to help promote the Royal Albert Hall's standing as a charity and the diverse public benefit work it undertakes each year.  Beyond maintaining a grade 1 listed building, our efforts include encouraging musical appreciation and participation for youth throughout the country. Good Relations were selected from a strong and creative shortlist”.

Will Scougal, Creative Director at Good Relations said: “It is an honour to be working with such an iconic, national treasure.  We admitted we weren’t aware of its charitable status and are determined to change this perception within the media and amongst the Great British public over the coming months.”

Good Relations will begin working with the Royal Albert Hall from 1st March 2012 with a programme of profiling, media relations and brand activation.  The team will be led by Account Director, Nicola Hamilton.
