Royal Albert Hall agrees exclusive partnership with Girard-Perregaux

The Royal Albert Hall, one of the world’s leading entertainment venues, has confirmed Girard-Perregaux, luxury Swiss manufactured timepieces, as its official time-keeping partner.

Girard-Perregaux pride themselves on being one of the few authentic Swiss watch manufacturers, designing and creating every element of their exquisite timepieces. A jewel in the crown of Swiss Haute Horlogerie, some of the most innovative designs and movements first created by Constant Girard-Perregaux in the 19th century, like the Tourbillon with three gold Bridges, are still being manufactured today. Girard-Perregaux combine over two centuries-worth of expertise with a modern approach, resulting in a subtle marriage between tradition and state of the art technology, perfectly complementing the Hall’s own philosophy with regards to the coalescence of heritage and modernity.

The Hall is proud to display one of Gerard-Perregaux’s exceptional creations on the Grand Tier level and they will have a presence on the Royal Albert Hall official website.

The Hall enjoyed its most successful year in 2010, with a record-breaking 381 events in the main auditorium and a further 150 in its other spaces. 2011 has been just as exciting so far with the return of Cirque du Soleil, Eric Clapton, Liza Minnelli, Janet Jackson and the hugely popular Strictly Gershwin to name but a few. The collaboration with Girard-Perregaux helps the Hall, as a registered charity, to continue to strive to provide such spectacular experiences which are accessible to everyone.
