Nordoff Robbins have today announced that the incredibly successful and internationally acclaimed band, Coldplay, are to receive the Royal Albert Hall Best British Act Award at this year’s Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards.
The star-studded event, in aid of music charity Nordoff Robbins, a favourite charity of the music industry, will take place on Friday 28 June 2013 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Booking for the BBC Proms 2013 opened at 9am this morning (Saturday 11 May) and a record of over 114,000 tickets were sold in the first 12 hours. This is a 17% increase on last year, when over 97,000 tickets were purchased during the equivalent period.

From Tuesday 4 - Saturday 8 June 2013, X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke takes residence in Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room for her own unique concert version of Lady Sings The Blues. Following in the footsteps of her idols Billie Holiday and Diana Ross, Alexandra will perform, with a full jazz band, her own take on the legendary 1972 film soundtrack of the same name.
