FAQs

What are the minimum system requirements I need to download Showtime on a PC?

PC running either Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.
800 MHz Processor or greater
1GB RAM or greater
500 MB available hard drive space.
Screen resolution of 1024x768 or greater.
DirectX compatible sound card.
Adobe Reader installed.
Internet connection for hyper links.
 
Whilst it maybe possible to run this application on a lower spec machine, we are unable to support any software issues that may arise as a result.
 
Please note that this software is provided from the RAH download site free of viruses.  The use of software not directly downloaded from the RAH website or passed on to a third party is used totally at the users own risk. Please note that we are unable to support individual network configurations or issues with the individual configuration of machines.  Users should seek support from their own network managers prior to contacting the technical support team.

What are the minimum system requirements I need to download Showtime on a Mac?

Mac running OS X 10.4 or greater
800 Mhz processor or greater
1GB RAM or greater
500MB available hard rive space
Screen resolution of 1024x768 or greater.

Installation
Installing Showtime on your Mac will create a Royal Albert Hall folder in your Applications folder if you have installed Showtime to the default location. After the installation drag the Showtime.app file on to your dock if you wish to create a shortcut to Showtime.

I've registered to download Showtime but I've lost the link. What should I do?

Please email Showtime@royalalberthall.com stating that you've lost the link. We will then email you with the link so that you can download Showtime.

After downloading Showtime my antivirus software is warning me against using Showtime. What should I do?

As the Royal Albert Hall may not be a recognised publisher on your anti-virus or firewall software, on download and during the installation of Showtime you may be required to accept the Royal Albert Hall as a trusted publisher of Showtime in order to successfully download and run Showtime.

I have downloaded Showtime and my PC says that it has installed but when I try to run Showtime I get an error message saying: 'error reading setup initialization file'.

If you get this message it means that your internet connection was interrupted momentarily during the download. You need to download Showtime again and reinstall the software.
