What's On: Communities & Adults
The Royal Albert Hall provides a variety of participatory activities, working within the local community and with community groups that operate within neighbouring boroughs in London:
Friendship Matinee
Friendship Matinee is the Royal Albert Hall's membership scheme that provides charitable, community and voluntary organisations the opportunity to come to the Hall to see world-class shows for only £5 per ticket. The aim of the scheme is to encourage those who would not normally come to the Hall to access the arts and to provide inspirational and rewarding experiences.
Each year the Royal Albert Hall will present a special matinee performance in the main auditorium exclusively for members of the scheme.
The Very Best of John Barry
Friday 4 October 2013
October sees the launch of Friendship Matinee and a special performance of 'The Very Best of John Barry' by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
